me:
My career began at Toni & Guy one of the most respected brands in the industry, renowned for bringing fashion-forward styling from the catwalk to the client. After many years combining art direction with freelance styling for the fashion and music industry I fulfilled a life-long ambition and opened a boutique salon with my business partner in the heart of Bath. The aim? to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment where clients are guaranteed a cut tailored to their individual personality, lifestyle and needs.
favourite season:
Spring, when you can start to brighten up your winter wardrobe with some fresh trends. It’s also the perfect time to update your sharper winter haircut with a softer more textured look.
my style:
Uncomplicated, classic chic with a strong French influence. I feel most at home in a great pair of jeans, Breton top and pumps with my hair in a bob or top knot.
go-to stores:
It would have to be Comptoirs des Cottoniers and Zara for the cut and quality of their clothes
how I make a look my own:
Scarves are my signature accessory and I have a whole draw full! Tied around my head, waist or neck they add a real finishing touch to an outfit without overpowering it.
make-up must have:
Red lipstick, what more do you need?
hair must-have:
Bumble & Bumble Brilliantine. Works on all lengths of hair and gives it that slept in look!
creative influences:
I find inspiration all around me, from stylish ladies, young and old, I see in the street to international style magazines, particularly French and Italian Vogue. I’m influenced by current and vintage trends and create blends that work both in my personal style and when cutting hair
most important tool:
My scissors.
most treasured item:
My Manolo Blahniks.
top tip:
Always match the style to the individual; with hair fashion it isn't always one size fits all.
